NSF ACCESS Regional AI Workshop (Spring 2025)
A two-day regional workshop hosted by the University of Kentucky exploring applications of artificial intelligence in research and education. The event brought together researchers, educators, and national cyberinfrastructure partners to discuss AI technologies, research workflows, and emerging opportunities for AI-enabled science.
CCS Tips & Tricks (Fall 2025)
A recurring research computing office hour hosted by the Center for Computational Sciences. The sessions provided short demonstrations of practical research computing topics—such as accessing CCS systems, running jobs with SLURM, and managing research data—followed by open Q&A.
The series offered an informal environment where researchers could ask questions, share challenges, and learn practical techniques for using CCS resources effectively.
Commonwealth Computational Summits
The Commonwealth Computational Summit is an annual event hosted by the Center for Computational Sciences that brings together researchers, educators, and technology professionals to explore advances in computational research and cyberinfrastructure. The summit features keynote speakers, research presentations, and discussions on topics such as high-performance computing, data science, artificial intelligence, and emerging computational methods across disciplines.
