We want to inform you that the MCC cluster will be completely offline for scheduled maintenance on Monday, June 9th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Please plan your work accordingly.
This maintenance window is necessary to address GPFS storage issues that have been intermittently causing a few compute nodes to unmount, which can lead to job failures. Only operations related to the MCC cluster will be impacted, including any Globus data transfers. The LCC cluster will not be affected.
As we get closer to the maintenance window, Slurm will begin rejecting jobs that are unlikely to finish before June 9th. If you’re confident your job can be completed in time, but Slurm still rejects it, try adjusting your time limit using the -t
option in your job submission script.
Please note that any jobs still pending on the MCC cluster during the maintenance period will be lost and will need to be resubmitted after the cluster is back online.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
